Instead, his imagination turned to vultures, though he says he did toy with the idea of warthogs or Japanese fighting fish. His philosophy on romance: “Even if you look like a swamp monster and enjoy burying your head in offal, that doesn’t mean you can’t love and be loved.” If vultures can be romantic, then there is hope for all of us! The interior of this multi-compartment Romance Annual includes some delicacies that might appeal to the vulture palate – an eyeball and a testicle – which can also be found behind the birds. Inscribed on the lid are “Tiger 10” and “Pete 11”. During the carving of the piece, Tiger Woods won his 10th major championship, while Peter managed to take 11 shots on a hole during a game. Although Harmony Kingdom is still manufactured at Wimberley Mills near Stroud in Gloucestershire, since Martin Perry, the founder retired in August 2005, marketing and shipping of the pieces is done from the USA office at Harmony Ball Company in Ohio. This means that we have to consolidate our orders before having them shipped to us.
